 What is Emotional Freedom Technique?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)is a simple yet effective healing system that shares the same principles as the ancient art of acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments.It is a powerful psychological acupressure technique based on the discovery that emotional trauma contributes greatly to stress and diseases. It has proven itself successful in many scientific studies. It works on a variety of health issues, including anxiety or stress issues and performance issues.Studies have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accelerate healing.The methodology is very simple to learn as it involves light tapping on certain trigger points in a simple sequence on the body that correspond to acupuncture points on the energy meridians. The method can be used as a self-help tool as well as for loved ones.

So what are the EFT basics and tapping points and how does this tapping stuff work? Acupuncturists balance the energy system with needles, but with EFT you simply tune into the problem or issue by thinking about it and then activate the meridian or acupuncture points by tapping on them to effectively release negative emotions and physical symptoms and restore balance and harmony.
